Second CORALIS Application Note – Focus on Multilayer Depth Scanning

In recent months, we have intensified the research on our combined RAMAN-LIBS system CORALIS. The latest measurements focus on depth profiles for multilayered samples, specifically automotive paints. During the LIBS measurements, the laser continuously drills through the layers. The alternately recorded RAMAN spectra significantly increase the information content of each layer.

The user-friendly and rapid combination of both analytical techniques promises a new level of data quality in various applications, such as forensics.
