LIBSorter 300 – Industrial Sorting of Metals and Alloys in Recycling

LTB Lasertechnik Berlin expands its product portfolio with the LIBSorter 300, a robust and powerful online analysis system designed for use in the industrial recycling of secondary raw materials, especially in harsh environmental conditions.

With non-contact simultaneous multi-element analysis based on laser-induced plasma spectroscopy (LIBS), individual material classes can be defined for subsequent industrial sorting, depending on the application. These include aluminum, lead, bronze, chromium, iron, copper, brass, nickel, silver, steel, zinc, and tin.

Equipped for fully automated and low-maintenance 24/7 operation with script-based remote control, the system can measure up to 25 parts per second. The LIBSorter 300 is ideal for online analysis of materials on conveyor systems. Depending on the application, the measurement system can be tailored to meet individual customer needs.
