Structure The modular design of the easy-to-use LIBSlab (LIBS laboratory) measuring system allows the flexible combination of sample chamber, spectrometer,…
In addition to our portfolio of standard components, LTB offers a wide range of OEM LIBS components. Based on many years of experience, customized components for LIBS applications are also available:
The compact and robust LIBS measuring head CMH-66 combines laser head, transmitting/receiving optics, sample observation and energy monitoring in a compact housing. A protective funnel flushed with compressed air at the measuring head output protects the input window from contamination and reduces the number of particles in the beam path. The transmitting telescope is coaxial to the receiving telescope and focuses the radiation through the pierced primary mirror of the receiving optics and images the plasma onto a fiber connected to the spectrometer. The distance from the sample surface to the measuring head is approx. 66 mm (without protective funnel). The measuring spot diameter on the sample is approx. 50 µm. In order to minimize losses and reflections in the optical beam path, all lenses are AR-coated. The exclusive use of broadband coated mirror optics has the advantage of not generating any chromatic errors.
The Aryelle 200 is integrated together with the detector and the cooling units in an industrial 19″ rack to facilitate installation in an industrial system. In addition, the optional LIBS controller and the thermal controller are also housed in the rack. For convenient handling, all connections for spectrometer and thermostatization are accessible from the outside and can be easily connected and disconnected.
The supply unit consists of a 19” rack supply cabinet with integrated slots for the individual supply components of the analysis system, including a temperature-stabilized spectrometer and computer system.
The included LIBScontrol electronics box controls the temporal interaction between software, laser system and spectrometer. It contains a mercury lamp that is used for automatic calibration of the spectrometer. Fans built into the supply cabinet ensure adequate ventilation of the supply unit.
The supply unit can be equipped with various spectrometer systems. Other components of a customer system can also be integrated. In conjunction with the CMH-66, a flexible, industrial-grade LIBS system is created that can be used in a wide range of applications.
